August 3, 2005 - Today Portola Blow Mold Technologies announced that it will consolidate all of its business operations at the existing Portola Packaging, Inc. facility in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Over the next four to six months, Portola Allied Tool, Portola Dairy Fabrication, Portola Technical Service, and the new Reciprocating Screw Machine businesses will move to the 60,000 square foot New Castle facility.

"This consolidation of all of our people and assets at one centralized location will allow us to provide customers with fully integrated blow molding products, engineering, and technical service," said Bruce Gallop, President of Portola Blow Mold Technologies. "This full-service option is a unique offering in our markets."

As part of this consolidation, the Portola Allied Tool group will be moving from Michigan Center to the New Castle headquarters location.

Portola Packaging manufactures plastic closures and containers for leading dairy, beverage, and food companies worldwide. Portola also supplies the cosmetic and personal care industries with packaging through its Portola Tech International division. The company has over a dozen manufacturing plants in the Unites States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and China, and sells to companies throughout the world.
