BATAVIA, IL March 16, 2009 – Portola Packaging, Inc .announced that
Glenn Fish has been hired as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
 

Mr. Fish comes to Portola from a 12 year career with Alcan Packaging, a $6 Billion
packaging division of Rio Tinto, where he served in numerous professional accounting
and leadership roles, including Vice President – Finance, and most recently as the Vice
President – Strategy & Business Development, Food Packaging Americas, where he was
responsible for the strategic planning, acquisitive growth initiatives, and capital
investment analysis for a $1.5 billion food packaging business. In addition, his recent
responsibilities included general management for a business unit based in New Zealand.
Mr. Fish received a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois
University and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from DePaul
University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
